  • Jorginho is very likely to leave Arsenal for free in summer
  • One Turkish club are planning to sign the Italian next year
  • A move in january is expected where Gunners can still make a little profit from the deal

Arsenal signed Jorginho from Chelsea for €11.3 million in January 2023. He then played a very important role for Gunners due to his vast experience. Last season he helped Gunners to push until the last in the pursuit of Premier League title.

Jorginho played 36 games last season and scored 1 goal along with picking 2 assists. This earned him contract extension for one year. But, the story has not been same this season.

Arsenal to part ways with Jorginho?

The Italian has fallen down the pecking order this season. He has only played 7 games across all competitions. In addition, his contract will expire at the end of this season.

Jorginho will turn 33 years old next month. As per the reports, Gunners are very unlikely to hand him another extension. This will result in the Euro 2020 wimmer leaving the club for free.

Eariler, Jorginho revealed that he might consider coaching after this season. But now one Turkish club are planning to sign him and pair him with his Italy teammate. Gunners too can make profit from this deal if they operate in January itself.

Which Turkish club is interested in Jorginho?

As per Sabah Sport, Besiktas are keen to sign the Italian maestro. They are planning to pair the Arsenal star with Ciro Immobile who played alongside Jorginho in Italy’s Euro 2020 triumph.

Arsenal have a chance to earn a little amount of money from the deal. They can part ways with Jorginho in january and invest the money earned in future signings.

Along with Jorginho, Thomas Partey is also set to leave the club for free. This will leave a huge void in midfield and thus we can expect some big deals from Arsenal next year.
