Champions League Quarter-Finals Draw: PSG against Bayern Munich


Serie A champions Juventus were sent out by Liga Portuguese side F.C Porto, though Juventus won the game 3-2 the aggregate score was 4-4 and Porto went through on away goals. Dortmund played in a 2-2 Champions League draw against Sevilla and Dortmund went through on aggregate 5-4.

Barcelona fought very hard but sadly couldn’t make a comeback against Paris Saint Germain which was a very difficult task the aggregate score 5-2. Liverpool comfortably cruised past RB Leipzig with an aggregate 4-0.

Real Madrid defeated Atalanta in an impressive 3-1 win ( 4-1 aggregate ), Manchester City also easily cruised past Bundesliga side Borussia Mönchengladbach with an aggregate score of 4-0.

Chelsea easily swept aside La Liga Leaders Atletico Madrid with an aggregate 3-0, Bayern Munich were the side with the highest goals scored, Scoring 6 past Lazio and conceding only 2.

UEFA Champions League Draw:

UEFA Champions League draw was held on 19th March in Nyon, Switzerland. The Turkish midfielder Hamit Altintop who has played for the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Galatasaray was invited to do the honors.

The eight teams remaining were Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Dortmund, P.S.G, Porto.

Any teams could face any team without any restrictions or rules like in Round of 16. In the first draw Manchester City were pulled out and were put against Borussia Dortmund. Halaand who is in red hot form has been carrying Dortmund and Manchester City who is a army scoring goals for fun, It will be interesting match up to see who comes out on top.

Porto the tournament underdogs were drawn against Chelsea who are finding form back under new manager Thomas Tuchel, Porto recently put Cristiano’s Juventus to sword are with immense boost in confidence it will be very interesting fixture.

Bayern Munich were drawn against P.S.G which brings memories to last year finals in which Bayern Munich edged past P.S.G to win Europe’s top trophy, It will be revenge time for P.S.G with their new manager Pochettino.

Real Madrid were drawn against Liverpool both of them having history in the past in the UCL final were Real Madrid cruised past Liverpool with a wonder goal from Gareth Bale this time LIverpool would looking to get revenge as they have slipped in the title race and would love to get silverware for their fans.

The winner of quarter-final 3 will be facing the winner of quarter-final 1 and the winner of quarter-final 4 will be facing the winner of quarter-final 2.
