Manchester United have joined the race to sign young Chelsea target. The star in question is wing back who is very highly offensive. The name of the player is Patrick Dorgu who has been superb for Leece this season.
The Blues have been linked with Dorgu since a long time now. They are planning to sign the 20 year old as long term replacement for Ben Chilwell. In addition, the player’s versatility makes him top target for club like Chelsea.
Dorgu can play on both wings along with playing as left wing back or left back. Despite being only 20 years old, he has been regular starter for Leece this season. He is also being called up to represent Denmark regularly this season.
Chelsea have been known foe maintaining a proper squad depth and signing young players. Hence, Dorgu fits the bill perfectly if Chilwell leaves. But, the Blues have been now hit with a blow as United have joined the race.

As per TBR Football, the Red Devils have shown interest in Patrick Dorgu. The 20 year old will cost United around £30 million and it will not be a problem for them. Dorgu seems like a good addition for United as he is perfect fit for Ruben Amorim.
Amorim is known for using 3-4-3 formation. It requires two wing backs and Dorgu is known for doing that job. He will help the Portugese boss to use the same tactics that made him successful when he was at Sporting.
Along with left wing back, Dorgu can also provide on the opposite wing and he can even help the club in defence when required. The 20 year old has so far scored 3 goals in 14 Serie A games and showcased the world his highest quality at young age.
