As per reports, Victor Osimhen has signed an agreement to join Manchester United this summer. That means, his dream move to Old Trafford look almost certain.
According to reports from Africa Foot, the Nigeria international, is all set to don the red shirt. Now he is on a season-long loan with Galatasaray.
A member of Osimhen’s team revealed that personal terms have been sorted. Although, the two clubs are yet to finalise the transfer fee. Early estimates suggest that United could land the 26-year-old for a bargain price between £25–30 million. That would be a steal considering his goal-scoring form.
The striker’s camp are buzzing about the chance of a Premier League move. Utd are also struggling up front under Ruben Amorim. So, his arrival could be the fresh boost they need.
Victor’s Galatasaray success
After a standout season with Galatasaray, the Nigerian forward bagged 29 goals in 34 matches. That also includes 21 in the Super Lig.
His stock has only risen since. His journey hasn’t been smooth. He was left out of Napoli’s squad last year following the arrival of Romelu Lukaku. Galatasaray came in as a hope for him with a season-long loan.
Despite interest from Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and even clubs in Saudi Arabia, no deal happened last summer.
Napoli are keen to cash in now rather than lose him for free later. The Italian side still has him locked in with a contracting date of until 2026. While the Turkish outfit would love to keep him permanently, Viktor is willing to join a new club.
