The Chelsea-Victor Osimhen saga is still on after the deal collapsed back in the Summer. Across the whole transfer window from June to August the Nigerian was heavily linked with the Blues. But due to some minor disagreements the deal got delayed. And Osimhen failed complete the move before the deadline day.
Out of options, the 25-year-old had to join Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season long deal. Because he was forced to leave Napoli as they excluded him from their first-team squad. But to get at least some amount of money out of the Nigerian, the Italian side made an unique agreement with him.
Napoli extended the contract with Victor Osimhen until 2027, as the current contract was ending at the end of this season. In exchange they have allowed Victor Osimhen to join any of the 10 teams he has listed, in January. The list includes top European clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, PSG etc.
The club have even lowered his price tag significantly in order to help the striker to join his favorable side. And after this incident, the Blues are again back on track to go for the Nigerian.

“I’ve seen a lot of the speculation linking me out of the club in January. But I can state through me now I’m going to be here until the end of the season.”
