Viktor Gyokeres is the most wanted striker in Europe right now. The 26 year old has been scoring for fun week in and week out. He scored 43 goals last season and currently has 24 goals in just 19 matches.
Gyokeres has been very heavily linked with a move to Premier League. Arsenal and Man United are the front runners for him as of now. But the striker seems to have other plans.
Viktor Gyokeres unwilling to join Arsenal or Man United as of now
As per El Nacional, the Sporting striker is unwilling to move to Premier League right now. He is not convinced to join any English club and is still looking for the best project before making any decision about his future.
This will put all other top clubs on alert one of whom is FC Barcelona. Barca currently have Lewandowski who is in fine form but will turn 37 next year. He will soon need a proper replacement.
Arsenal will surely not give up just yet on Gyokeres. They will him as a clear upgrade over Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. Gunners have felt a need of clinical striker and not having one has already costed them.
On the other hand, Man United will too doo their very best to reunite Gyokeres with Ruben Amorim. The Sweedish will be an upgrade here too over Zirkzee and Hojlund. He will surely start as soon as moving to Old Trafford.
As of now, it looks very likely that the striker will stay at Sporting until the end of the season. He will look carefully and take decision likewise about which club will be a perfect match for him.
