The Brazilian young talent Vinicius Junior is now being compared to Neymar Junior after his great start this season for Real Madrid. The player who was being criticized by the Real Madrid fans has suddenly made a turnaround this season. While Vinicius’ current form describes why Real Madrid had invested 45 million in the signing the Brazilian talent.

Vinicius Junior joined Real Madrid back in 2018, as the Madrid scouts got hold of the young talent from Flamengo. And Real Madrid happily paid 45 million for the rising star and the fans referred to him as the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo. Getting his debut for Real Madrid, Vinicius had a decent season in the 2018/19 season. As the youngster scored 7 goals and 13 assists in 36 appearances.

Moving on to the next season, Vinicius was low on confidence and form as he scored only 5 goals in 38 appearances. Following which the Real Madrid fans started to demotivate and abuse the young Brazilian. And that seemed to affect him more next season scoring 6 goals in 49 appearances. While it seemed then-coach Zinedine Zidane didn’t know how to use the raw talent.

But Vinicius Junior has made positive turnaround this season with already scoring 5 goals and 3 assists in 7 games. While it seems his new role and development under new coach Carlo Ancelotti has been helping in his growth. The youngster looks much confident in the pitch while dribbling and passing the ball. While his finishing has been improved by far.

Following his development at the start of the season, many are comparing him to young Neymar Junior. Neymar also made a move to La Liga at the age of the ’20s as he signed for Barcelona. And struggling a bit in the start, the Brazilian showed what he is capable of. While doing the same Vinicius is now seen as the young Neymar of La Liga with having a lot of time to improve at Real Madrid.
