West Ham United are showing interest in signing not 1 but 2 Chelsea stars this month. Both of the Chelsea stars are made available by the Blues on the market.
West Ham have sacked Julen Lopetegui whom they made head coach in summer. They have now appointed former Chelsea coach Graham Potter as the head coach and are planning to raid the Blues this month itself.
Hammer do need some important changes in the squad quickly. They are sitting on the 14th position in the Premier League with only 23 points in 20 games. They are very far away from qualifying for any European football next season.
West Ham United keen to sign 2 Chelsea stars
Earlier, there were reports that Hammers are keen to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this month. Now, TEAMtalk have reported that they are also interested to sign Ben Chilwell along with Dewsbury-Hall. The report says that Graham Potter is interested to sign these two from his former club.
Hammers can take the advantage of Potter’s relation with his former club. Both of the Chelsea stars are made available by the club in market. In addition, Dewsbury-Hall is open to move away from Stamford Bridge in order to play regularly.
Chelsea will very likely demand £30 million for Dewsbury-Hall. This is the same amount they paid 6 months ago while signing him. Hammers can also opt to sign the player on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Ben Chilwell is being linked with exit since a very long time. The Blues wanted to sell him in summer itself but the deal never happened. He has less suitors due to him refusing to lower his current salary. Potter has already worked with him and hence can convince him to lower his wages in order to get the deal done.
