West Ham plan to disrupt Arsenal’s plans of signing Belgian star

West Ham United are planning to disrupt Arsenal’s plans of signing Belgian player in the summer transfer window. The North London club will try to give a tough fight to prevent this from happening.

The North London club is set for a busy summer transfer window. They will focus on improving their attacking unit. As of now, they are keen to sign a striker and a winger. In addition, there are some other key areas which need attention as well.

Arsenal are set to sign atleast two new midfielders. Both Partey and Jorginho are set to leave which has opened up space in midfield. In addition, they want to sign a new keeper as Norberto Neto will leave the club at the end. They want Joan Garcia to serve as backup for David Raya.

Lastly, Gunners will also need some attention in defense. Actually they have a great squad depth in back but some of their stars may leave in summer. Zinchenko is very likely to get sold whereas Kiwior is forcing for an exit.

West Ham plan to hijack Arsenal’s plans of signing Belgian defender

Gunners have been linked with Belgian full-back Maxim De Cuyper. Tutto Sport have reported that West Ham have joined the race for him and this will come as a blow for the North London club.

De Cuyper is 24 years old and currently plays for Club Brugge. He mainly plays as left back but can also play as right back. He has been very good since last season and is now regular player for Belgium national team too.

West Ham can convince De Cuyper to join them by promising him regular game time. The 24 year old has less chance of playing regularly at North London as they have plenty other options. All Calafiori, White, Timber and Lewis-Skelly can play as full-backs.
