Premier League’s 13th round matches will commence on Tuesday night with the match between Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea at Molineux Stadium.
Chelsea have lost 1-0 in their last match away to Everton and they are hoping to bounce back from that disappointment to keep themselves in the title race.
Chelsea was in fourteen games unbeaten streak in all competitions before that defeat and 3rd position in the Premier League table. But they’re now fifth with 22 points in 12 games.
Wolverhampton has been hot and cold this season, losing to Liverpool and West Ham United by 4-0 and defeated Arsenal. They also lost their last match against Aston Villa by 1-0 and the veteran Portuguese midfielder Joao Moutinho picked up a red card.
Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Chelsea FC
Chelsea has been very good this season so far under Frank Lampard. They looked solid in defense and attack. The Blues have played 12 matches in the League, won 6 matches, and lost only two matches. With a goal difference of +13, they are recognized as second-best in the league.
The addition of veteran Brazilian defender Thiago Silva and French goalkeeper Edouard Mendy made them very solid. They only conceded 12 goals in 12 matches. Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are the only teams that conceded less than Chelsea.
Chelsea’s other big-money signing Timo Werner and Kai Havartz haven’t lived up to their expectations yet, but they have shown few glimpses of their potential.
Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has been in great form especially in the opposition box, he’s already scored 4 goals in the league and along with that he is the joint top scorer for Chelsea with Werner and also a top scorer as a defender in Premier League this season.
Wolverhampton hasn’t been able to beat Chelsea since their promotion to top-flight football in the 18/19 season. They played four times in the league but lost three times and drew once, even though they have been a threat to the other top for six times.
The starman Adama Traore of Wolverhampton hasn’t shown his last season’s impressive performance so far and the injury to Raul Jimenez hasn’t helped him either. The new Portuguese teenage forward Fabio Silva hasn’t been able to fill the boots of Jimenez.
They are 13th in the league with 17 points in 12 matches, lost 5 matches, and victorious in 5 matches. They’ve won only one match in their last five fixtures.

Team news: Wolverhampton vs Chelsea
Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi both will be out for hamstring injury, Christian Pulisic is also in doubt for this match.
Otherwise, Lampard will go with his preferred 4-3-3 formation and we are expecting he will choose the same team that lost to Everton.
There is still no timeframe on Jimenez’s return to action after his skull fracture, while Jonny Otto is Wolves’ other long-term absentee.
Joao Moutinho picked up a red card against Aston Villa and Ruben Neves will replace him, Willy Boly started on the beach in the last match and Fernando Marcal started in place of Rayan Ait Nouri. But we’re expecting both will start in this match.
Nuno Espirito Santo frequently played 3-4-3 formation but this season they are playing 4-3-3 but after the adverse start with this formation he might go back to his old formation against Chelsea.
