Worries for Inter Milan as Lukaku rushes for World Cup

Inter

Lukaku has been already selected for Belgium’s World Cup side which worries Inter before the second half of the season as he is thriving to be fit for the match against Croatia.

Lukaku’s return to San Siro is disrupted by injuries. Meanwhile, he is still looking to recover from it as he ventures for the World Cup. The Chelsea striker has only five appearances this season. He has one goal and one assist for his new side.

Just after his return from a thigh injury, he received another fresh injury during training on his left thigh and this situation now raises questions about whether he will be fit for the World cup.

Dilemma on Lukaku for Inter

Reports from La Gazzetta Dello Sport states that Lukaku is trying to recover from his injury. Meanwhile he can be fit for Belgium’s final group stage game against Croatia at December 1. However, Inter worries that he might not have recovered enough. Thus gaining new injuries can make him inactive yet again as the season resumes.

Though Inter coach Inzaghi has a different uptake on his players as well as Lukaku as he states:

I’m not worried and I’m happy that three out of our four forwards will go to the World Cup.

There is great confidence for everyone, Romelu was very keen to come back for the last few games with us, he managed to make two appearances but had a relapse, making a gradual recovery.

I wish him and the other forwards who will go to the World Cup a great tournament and that they come back here in the best possible way.

Inter will face Napoli on January 4. It will be a very crucial game for them. Meanwhile, they will hope for Romelu’s full recovery by then.
