The new signing of West Ham United, Kurt Zouma has reportedly set the fire inside the dressing room as per the multiple reports in England.

After a long transfer saga throughout the window, the 26-year-old finally decided to join the Hammers towards the back end of the transfer window for around €30 million. The defender has signed a four-year contract with David Moyes’ side worth €140,000 per week.

According to the report, the Frenchman has now become the highest earner at the London Stadium and that could create a problem in the dressing room for the Scottish boss. The aforementioned figure is head and shoulders beyond any other current players at the club. And this situation did not go down well among a few players.

Declan Rice, who is heavily linked with a move away from the London stadium and an integral part of Moyes’ side, could now demand more than that figure to renew his contract as the Hammers are desperate to keep hold of their star man. This might clear the path for Chelsea or Manchester United to sign the midfielder next summer as they are eyeing a move for the England international.

Zouma has turned the West Ham dressing on:

Signing Zouma is a great acquisition for West Ham United in this summer transfer window. Bringing someone from Chelsea will always cost more and it was pretty obvious that the 26-year-old has asked for a big salary.

The player will improve Moyes’ side on both ends of the pitch. There is no doubt about the defensive attribute of the Frenchman and his abilities in the air. The Scottish boss likes to make the most of the set pieces. And the former Chelsea man will be a great option to have inside the opposition box.

The only frailty in his game is his efficiency with the ball. The lack of composure with the ball has forced Tuchel to get rid of him as the German manager likes to play out from the back. So, West Ham will be a perfect destination for Zouma and he will help Moyes to repair the leaky defence.
