Chelsea is making big moves in this summer’s transfer window to get new players for the 2024/25 title challenge.
Todd Boehly and BlueCo are once again having a busy summer. Chelsea has made headlines with some serious spending in this transfer window. The side has spent nearly £120 million on 8 signings.
Chelsea has signed Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Omari Kellyman, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Estevao Willian, and Renato Veiga. These signings alone have cost Chelsea £93 million this summer. Further getting Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley on the side cost an additional £25.5 million. The latter was the latest signing by Chelsea in this transfer window.

Nevertheless, more expenditure seems on the way. The transfer window is open until 30 August and the Blues have more targets on their list. The club is in the market looking for a new winger. The West Londoners aim for German player Karim Adeyemi and the latest Spanish sensation Nico Williams.
According to reports, the manager is also looking for a new striker. This led to a failed bid for Atletico Madrid’s forward Samu Omorodion.
Some more notable names have been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge. This includes Napoli star Victor Osimhen. However, a move for the Nigerian to Chelsea looks less likely due to the cost.
Meanwhile, the Blues have also considered Lille star Jonathan David. David could be considered as a cheaper option. Chelsea also made a surprising interest in Alexander Isak earlier this month. The Swedish player plays as a striker for Newcastle United.
Chelsea’s goal-scoring was taken care of by both Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson last season. However, it is believed that Maresca is still interested in bringing in a new striker to ease the workload.
PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani was offered by Chelsea
As per HITC, Maresca might get a solution to the problem now. And the solution comes from PSG in the form of Randal Kolo Muani.
The outlet claims PSG has offered a chance to Chelsea for signing Randal Kolo Muani. The French Club is trying to remove some strikers and make space for Victor Osimhen. PSG is trying to complete a transfer deal with Napoli for the Nigerian striker. However, to do so, the Ligue 1 Champions will need to make some space. For this, they are letting go of both Kolo Muani and Goncalo Ramos.

Kolo Muani joined PSG coming from Eintracht Frankfurt last season. During his 2022/23 campaign with the German club, the 25 year old scored 23 goals and 17 assists. French Captain Kylian Mbappe also hailed him as a “complete” striker.
Regardless, the “complete” striker failed to reach his complete potential with PSG. At a fee of £205,000 per week with Parc des Princes, we can say he didn’t get full chances.
Nevertheless, he can get a new chance at Chelsea. Let’s see how this update progresses in the summer transfer window for Chelsea.
Trevoh Chalobah may leave Stamford Bridge
Chalobah has already turned Crystal Palace down once in this transfer window. Regardless, it looks like the Eagles are keen on signing him.
On Monday, he was left out of the squad that flew to the United States for the pre-season tour. It seems that Chalobah is not in the plans of Enzo Maresca. The Central defender now seems more likely to leave Stamford Bridge.
As reported by CaughtOffside, Chalobah is all set to leave Chelsea in this summer’s transfer window. It is believed West Ham United and Crystal Palace are interested in the center back.
The outlet further claims that the Blues’ rivals Fulham are also interested in Chalobah. Further, a deal for the 25 year old can cost up to £30m.
