Interestingly, the 26-year-old has already turned down new Reds‘ head coach Arne Slot in the past. The Dutch tactician had wanted to sign him at Feyenoord 3 years ago.
Now, with Slot at the helm of the Premier League champions, the defender seems more than ready to consider working under the manager. The Telegraph says that Beukema would take the chance to play under Slot at Anfield. This move might turn out to be great if the Reds decide to act quickly on their interest this summer.
