Juventus plotting swap deal to land out-of-favour Man United star

Juventus are showing interest in signing one Man United star. The player has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford. The Serie A giants are keen to sign him in a swap deal with 3 of their current players identified as potential options.

Man United are keen to improve almost all parts of pitch this summer. As of now, they are focused on attacking signings. They have signed Cunha and are now closing in on Mbeumo. Later, they will try to sign a new striker. However, the club also needs to focus on selling some current players.

United have made almost 6 attackers available for sale. One of them is Jadon Sancho. They signed him as a talented youngster for a hefty transfer fee. But, Sancho has failed to impress at Old Trafford. Later, he was sent on loan at 2 different clubs who both rejected to sign him on permanent basis.

Juventus planning to sign Sancho in swap deal

According to GiveMeSport, Juventus are showing interest in Sancho. The Old Lady are keen to improve their attacking unit this summer. The report adds that they have proposed swap deal in which 3 of their current stars are identified as potential options.

The players offered by Juve are – Dusan Vlahovic, Douglas Luiz and Timothy Weah. United can view at this offer with interest due to their needs this summer. Firstly, they are not very likely to sign another right back and hence Weah is unlikely to be viewed as option by them.

But, United do want a new striker and a midfielder. Vlahovic has been one of the best strikers despite having dip in form recently. He is only 25 years old and can surely help the Red Devils on long-term. His experience at top most level will help United to get back at top.

On the other hand, Douglas Luiz has already proven himself in the Premier League. He was very good in the 2023/24 season which earned him move to Juve. But, the Brazilian has not impressed in Serie A and has fallen down the pecking order. He can be a good replacement for Casemiro who is linked with exit.
