Arsenal & Tottenham Target Player of the Year Midfielder

Tottenham and Arsenal are eyeing a summer move for Ardon Jashari, the Belgian league’s Player of the Year.

Swiss Midfield Star on Radar For Arsenal & Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are tracking Swiss international Ardon Jashari, as per TBR Football. He is currently with Club Brugge. He is a primary target to strengthen their midfield field options this summer.

The player was recently awarded Player of the Year in the Belgian Pro League. This shows his quality in the midfield. He has been giving good performances in the final third as well as the defensive phase of play.

The Spurs are looking for technically gifted and adaptable midfield. They want a player who comes with some grit, skill, and energy to the middle of the park. Jashari has the qualities of playing either a deeper or a box-to-box role for a coach.

Meanwhile, Yves Bissouma may leaves this summer. So, it would make sense that Jashari would be a feasible long-term replacement. Club Brugge have reportedly received a £32m offer from AC Milan as well. But, Spurs and Arsenal could still move in with a better deal.

The Gunners in particular are said to have scouted him throughout last season. Although, they already have a strong midfield. However, Mikel Arteta is reportedly looking to add more depth and youth to his squad.

Man City Also in the Picture

While the London sides prepare to move, they aren’t alone in the race. Manchester City have been closely monitoring Jashari’s progress. The player’s strong physical presence and tactical awareness make him a top long-term addition.

For Jashari, the EPL presents a big step up and a new challenge. A move to England would offer regular top-flight football and an ideal platform to grow. Whether it’s North London or Manchester, the talented midfielder looks set for a big move soon.
