Sesko Emerges as Key Target for United
Manchester Utd are already busy in their moves for the summer transfer window.
Meanwhile, one player has came up as a key option for their attacking unit. The Red Devils have been linked to RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. As per journalist Fabrizio Romano, internal discussions have taken place around making a move for the player. But, nothing official has occurred as of yet.
Sesko has been grabbing interest from PL clubs for some time. Arsenal being one of the clubs showing strong interest recently. Although, the Gunners are now looking to be focused on Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres. That is slightly opening the door for Man Utd.
At just 22, Sesko has established himself as one of the quickest and clinical finishers in European football. Though, he has signed a new contract with Leipzig until 2029. So, bringing him in won’t be an easy job.
Red Devils Weigh Options
Sesko enjoyed a great season in Germany, scoring 21 goals and assisting 6 others in 45 games. So far, that was his best season yet. Sesko’s speed, strength, and finishing ability has impressed the United scouting team. This comes especially after the head coach Ruben Amorim is looking for new options in attack.
Sesko is one of a number of names talked about. The Red Devils are tracking Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins as well. As per reports, Watkins is likely to leave Villa Park this window. He will be interested in working under Amorim.
For now , Sesko is a key target and internal talks show that United are planning to make a move. The Red Devils are watching everything carefully as they look to improve their attack going into the season.
