Simons Says Yes to Chelsea Amid Arsenal Interest

The Dutchman has attracted big interest from Premier League sides. Those include Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester United. But, it is the Blues who have taken the lead in the race. Reports suggest Simons’ exit from Leipzig is no longer a question.
Although, an official fee has yet to be settled between the clubs. But, Leipzig are expected to demand close to €80m. However, the final amount may drop slightly if Chelsea present a good deal. The player has had a lot of links for a move to the PL for some time now. It is believed that he is excited about the prospect of joining Chelsea’s project. He aims to be a key part in their attacking rebuild.

Simons’ agent had reportedly offered him to a number of top clubs earlier this summer. That said, Chelsea are now emerging as his likely destination. Barcelona pulled out due to the high price tag, and Bayern Munich have shifted their focus to Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.
