Arsenal Winger Faces Heat Despite Win over Newcastle
Arsenal won 3-2 over Newcastle in their pre-season clash on Sunday. But, that did little to calm the frustration of fans who have turned their attention to Leonardo Trossard.
Meanwhile, the result was positive, it was the Belgian’s performance that stood out most, for all the wrong reasons. Trossard played on the left-wing, had little to no impact on the game and was substituted in the 76th minute. With rumours of interest in Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, fans believe it is time to freshen the left side .
Trossard left Brighton for Arsenal in early 2023. Since then, he has recorded over 120 appearances for the North London club and has recorded a total of 28 goals and 23 assists.
On the other hand, young player Max Dowman was exciting in that same match. He showed he could bring youthful enthusiasm and creativity. The supporters want to turn their attention towards the new season. The Gunners will be starting their PL campaign against Manchester United, which is just days away. So they are demanding the club make a decision.
