Arsenal have already splashed big cash on Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres already this summer. However, they are still looking to add more to their attacking depth, and Morgan Rogers is well and truly on their radar.
The Aston Villa man is yet another highly-rated target to have been linked with Emirates’ club. Rogers has also shown that he can play both on left and wide. He has the ability to score goals and create one himself. The midfielder is an attacking midfielder but is also able to operate wide in the wider positions, particularly on the left flank.
Having been so close on their last two title bids, Arsenal are obviously building for a final push next season. Rogers can add value through his movements and work-rate. Arsenal might not be alone in admiring his progress. But, their continued interest shows Arteta is looking for more than just big names. Meanwhile ,the club is linked to big stars like Eze and Rodrygo as well.
Although, someone like Rogers could be a smart, affordable option who offers instant impact and long-term value. The window is open, and the Gunners might just test Villa’s resolve before it closes.
