Real Madrid’s teenage striker Endrick will come to Juventus this January after failing to pick up minutes at Bernabeu.
Youngster’s Madrid dream losing its shine
When Endrick moved to Real Madrid from Palmeiras, it was meant to be the start of something special. A 19-year-old with great speed, sharp instincts, and a flair for scoring goals, Endrick was the newest Brazilian ‘next big thing.’ A year later, it’s been a different story. His first season under Carlo Ancelotti didn’t go the way he planned, limited minutes, coupled with high expectations, and a squad full of attacking stars did not formulate a good recipe for success.
Since new manager Xabi Alonso was hired, things have gotten worse. Endrick has yet to see any action in La Liga or the UCL so far.
The fight for a spot in the attacking rotation is fierce. Endrick, generally, sits on the bench with any number of stars ahead of him. This has begun to take a toll on his confidence and his bid to be on the Brazil national team. With the 2026 World Cup approaching, the Brazilian coaching staff are looking at younger stars like Estevao Willian in the prem instead. For Endrick, the message is simple, play or miss out.

Juventus ready to pounce for Endrick
Now, word from Italy suggests Juventus are ready to test Madrid’s resolve in January. As reported by journalist Matteo Moreno, the Turin outfit considers Endrick a player who would add flair and creativity to their attacking unit. The interest from Juve came during the summer, but perhaps now is the time for a second attempt. Endrick wants to play and Juve offers him that opportunity. Juve have decided to renew their squad and will look to inject the team with talent that is not only younger but also more driven in their next rebuilding phase.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid has no problem permitting the young player to be move temporarily to another team for the sake of regaining his form and confidence. Endrick realizes that with the World Cup is around the corner, he needs to get more game time. The idea of moving to Juve, a club where he would most likely get regular starts, is really tempting. If Madrid blocked a summer exit, the winter window could be different, especially if Alonso continues to overlook him.
Juventus could offer Endrick more game time
Former Madrid star Guti has been vocal about Endrick’s situation, urging the youngster to leave for his own growth. Guti knows the demands at the Bernabeu better than most and insists that a player of Endrick’s age needs regular minutes to grow. The Madrid legend’s words have hit home for many fans who fear the club could waste yet another promising talent by keeping him benched.
Contrary to that, Endrick at the moment is proudly putting on the famous No.9. A shirt that has once been worn by the greatest of all time in this game like Di Stefano, Ronaldo Nazario, Benzema, and even Cristiano Ronaldo for a little while. Nevertheless, that means nothing until one produces on the pitch.
After the international break, he’ll hope Alonso gives him a chance when Real face Getafe, Juventus, and then Barca in a season-defining stretch. Still, if the bench remains his home, the January move might be very likely.
Author’s Opinion:
Endrick’s talent isn’t in question, his timing is. Madrid have plenty of options in attack, and his career needs minutes, not promises. Spending a little time with Juve may be just what he requires to regain his groove and refresh everybody’s memory as to why he commanded so much attention in Europe to begin with.
