Juventus are reportedly closing in on a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic as per the report in Sky Germany(via Juventusnews24.com)

The 29-year-old enjoyed a productive campaign this term at the Deutsche Bank Park. He scored 10 goals and registered 15 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions. The Serbian helped his side in winning the Europa League in the recently concluded campaign.

According to the report, Juventus are getting closer and closer to signing Filip Kostic this summer. A fee of around €15 million will be enough to persuade the German side to sell their star.

Meanwhile, the report further claims that the Bianconeri forward Dusan Vlahovic could be key in order to lure the 29-year-old into joining the Allianz Stadium. The January arrival is trying to lure his compatriot to join the Old Lady of Turin.

Will Filip Kostic join Juventus this summer?

The Serbian international was heavily linked with a move away from Frankfurt last summer. And Lazio was mentioned as the potential destination for the 29-year-old winger. However, a deal didn’t materialize. So, it will be interesting to see whether Juventus will be able to get this deal over the line or not.

Filip Kostic is a consistent performer that he displayed in the Bundesliga. And the winger will be a shrewd purchase for the Bianconeri. Massimiliano Allegri lacks options in the wide areas. He had to deploy Alvaro Morata and Paulo Dybala on the flanks this season.

However, they both will leave the club this summer. And strengthening the wide areas will be a great decision by the club’s hierarchy. The 29-year-old is quick and he can deliver excellent crosses from the wide areas.

So, the arrival of Filip Kostic will help Dusan Vlahovic to score more goals. Given he will get better service from his countryman. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old plays as a wing-back at Frankfurt. So, he will have defensive awareness which will help Juventus to stay compact without the possession.
