Reports suggest Arsenal are pushing to land Juve wonderkid. But, the Italian giants aren’t ready to give in easily.
Arsenal step up interest for Juve youngster
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Kenan Yildiz. The Juve forward who has become one of brightest stars. The Turkish international has caught the eye with his blistering start to the season. He racked up six goal contributions in just five outings.
Arsenal aren’t alone in this chase, with other PL clubs also sniffing around. But, the Gunners appear to be taking the first concrete steps by contacting the player’s camp. The problem is, Juventus have made it clear they don’t plan to lose him.
Yildiz’s current deal will expire in 2029 and a new long-term contract will be offered soon.
Juventus fighting to keep their talent
The Bianconeri see Yildiz as the face of their future. Since moving from Bayern Munich’s academy in 2022, the youngster has gone from a promising prospect to a first-team regular. He already has 89 senior appearances, with 18 goals and 15 assists. He was even named in the Serie A Team of the Season last year.
Juventus’ stance is simple, hands off. Even though clubs has shown a good deal of interest in Yildiz so far, his club has rejected each and every offer. However, the PL is a very enticing place to play. Arsenal’s interest in the player might create tensions.
For now, Yildiz has his attention on Juve. But, as the football world stresses, things can change in split seconds.
Author’s Opinion:
Kenan Yildiz is the kind of player Arsenal need to take the next step in Europe. But, taking him away from Juventus won’t be easy. This could become a long transfer saga where patience and timing matter as much as money.
