Arsenal Defender Open to Exit

Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior is reportedly ready to part ways with the Gunners if the right offer comes in.

Gunners Set for More Exits

Arsenal have had a busy summer transfer window this time. There are also likely to be more new arrivals to follow to join in the near future.

Now, the Gunners are focused on re-building the team and improving the squad quality. They are now looking to focus on selling players. Well, Jakub Kiwior is on the list. He played 30 times in all competitions last campaign.

However, Kiwior could very well drop down the pecking order with the Cristhian Mosquera arriving at the club. That’s left him open to the idea of moving on in search of more regular game time.

According to reports, the player is not pushing for a transfer. But, he would welcome a change if a solid offer lands on the table. The Gunners are not against letting him leave but want a decent fee. A bid of around €35m could be enough to seal the deal. The defender has shown glimpses of solid defending. He has suitors in Europe and may find the move that reignites his club career.

Future Uncertain For Arsenal Defender

The addition of Mosquera adds even more competition in central defence. So, that may restrict Kiwior’s chances of minutes next season. Mikel Arteta is likely to rely on his new signings more next season. Given that, making into the starting XI is likely to become tough.

The North London side clearly value Kiwior. They also have to make sure they balance things and shrink their squad.

The defender has plenty of potential. Thus, to leave the Gunners would allow a stage for him to show what he is capable of. Will that happen this window remains to be seen, however it is clear both parties open to opportunities.
