Arsenal focus on a key UCL night

Arsenal is looking forward to a pivotal UCL night while trying to continue their form in the League.

Arteta & Arsenal getting ready for UCL

Arsenal will seek to continue their good run of form next time out in Europe. They have played eight matches recently, winning seven and drawing one. This would have been a large deal to the media for any other team. Yet, it seems to have gone under the radar. Though, the attention still seems to be mostly around Manchester City and Haaland.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have calmly gone on to build a team that has discipline and intent. Their defence looks so firm, their attacking players are all of the same mind. The belief in the team is obvious in their performances.

Atletico await the challenge

Atletico Madrid, who have been perceived as a defensive and hard-nosed group for a long time, has been experiencing a rough season so far in all the competitions. The squad is now three points adrift frontrunners. They having played just two matches which led to one victory and one defeat, thus the Spanish side are placed tenth in the league.

In the home table from the Spanish league, they are fourth after the top three of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Villarreal. Arsenal are the top English club in Europe.

Yet, again it is too early in the UCL to draw any conclusions but the very early signs are good. If Arsenal can keep their intent and tempo they may whip up yet another clear signal to the rest of Europe.

Author’s Opinion:

Arsenal appears to be composed of a balance at the moment. The match with Atletico Madrid is for more than 3 points. It is also a opportunity to show that the squad is once again among the elite in Europe.
