Arsenal are keen to improve their attack this summer. Earlier, Mikel Arteta said that it will be a big summer for them. But so far Gunners have not made any new attacking signing. This is likely to change as the North London club are now close to sign Chelsea winger.
The star in question here is Noni Madueke. He is 23 year old English winger whom the Blues signed in January 2024. But, Madueke has not bee able to impress at West London due to him not being consistent. He has scored only 20 goals and picked 7 assists in 92 games.
Chelsea have a very high squad depth. In addition, they have made some top signings this summer too. Hence, they are open to sell Madueke. The player is also willing to leave as he is aware that he will not be able to play regularly.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Gunners are likely to open direct talks with Chelsea for Madueke very soon. The North London giants have already agreed personal terms with the player. Madueke has given green light to 5 year contract.
However, Gunners are unwilling to match Chelsea’s transfer fee valuation. This will be followed by negotiations and later the decision will be made. As of now, the 23 year old is set to join Chelsea’s london rivals despite not all fans impressed with this move.
Arsenal fans have mixed opinion for the Madueke deal. But, majority of the fans are not impressed with the deal. They feel like Gunners should sign someone more proven and consistent. In addition, they want a natural left winger as Madueke is best on the right side of pitch.
