Arsenal are making serious moves to sign Ajax’s Jorrel Hato during this summer window. The defender is already turning heads across Europe. He is on the radar of a few elite clubs, Chelsea included.
Apparently, Chelsea are at personal terms with the player. However, Arsenal are not backing down. They believe Hato fits in their future plans. He can play centrally or left-side at the defense. That is something Mikel Arteta is looking to add to his squad.
The Gunners have recently brought in Cristhian Mosquera from Valencia. They clearly have a strategy focused on youth and long-term squad building.

They might persuade Hato into heading to North London. The Gunners see the Dutch player as a huge part of their future defense. They will try to ensure he signs for them.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal can beat Chelsea at this point. But one thing is for sure, Arteta’s side will not roll over and allow the Blues to get their man easily.
