Arsenal have reportedly secured the signing of young striker Will Wright from Salford City.

Arsenal have reached an agreement with League Two side Salford City for the signing of Will Wright, as per The Athletic.
The young forward has turned heads across the country. He has scored over 50 goals at various levels for Salford last season. His impressive goal return caught the attention of big clubs including Liverpool. But, it is Arsenal to takeover of the teenager after reportedly providing a better offer.
Wright, who is 6ft 3in, has experience of men’s football and senior football. He even made his debut against Manchester City in the FA Cup earlier in the year. Although, Salford lost heavily, Wright’s place on the pitch marked the start of a rise in English football.
The Gunners believe he is a big talent for their future,. They expect him to be part of their U18 and U21 sides. He will be available to feature in their UEFA Youth League as well.
New Addition To Gunners’ Youth Team
The North London side has been busy this summer. They have a clear intent to bolster both their senior squad and youth ranks. Wright’s addition aligns with Arsenal’s long-term vision. He has had a great early pre-season form including four goals in three games. So, that suggests they’ve got a real gem on their hands. His brace in a 2-2 draw with FC United of Manchester has been grabbing eyes from many.
Arsenal’s summer spree doesn’t stop there. Deals have already been finalised for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Noni Madueke. Meanwhile, Spanish defender Christian Mosquera is also likely to arrive soon. On the attacking front, Viktor Gyokeres is set to join in a €73.5m deal from Sporting Lisbon.
