United Star Drawing Interest From Top PL Sides
Reports say that Aston Villa are one of several clubs that want to try and sign star winger Alejandro Garnacho from Man United.
The winger appears to be seeking a move after being placed on the transfer list by current side Manchester United. Many clubs are interested in the player, including some of the top PL sides like Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea. Currently, Garnacho is one of a number of United players to train away from the team as part of a plan.
He once looked destined for stardom with Man Utd. Although, new head coach Ruben Amorim has already told the youngster he’s free to find a new club. This comes after his poor reaction to being benched in the Europa League final against Spurs.
The winger made headlines for the wrong reasons again. He posted a photo on Instagram wearing a Marcus Rashford Villa shirt, which didn’t sit well with the club’s management.
Aston Villa Could Offer Premier League Lifeline To Garnacho
A return to former club Atletico Madrid is also in talks. But, Garnacho still prefers to stay in the England. Given that, Villa could be a great club for him. His pace, ability, and attacking mindset suits Unai Emery’s system well. Meanwhile, the Red Devils have to cash in to comply with financial fair play rules. So, a deal could move quickly.
The winger has fallen out with the current management as of now. He is training away from first-team with the squad preparing for a pre-season tour to the USA.
Now, United are busy preparing for a summer rebuild. So, Aston Villa’s interest could give Garnacho the fresh start he needs.
