Aubameyang Chelsea Confession Sparks Fresh Debate

Pierre-Emerick‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Aubameyang has confessed that moving to Chelsea was probably one of his biggest errors, even though he believed it was the best decision for his family at that time. Former Arsenal forward looked terrific in the Premier League, but people mostly recall his brief and unlucky spell at Stamford Bridge when they discuss his career in detail these days.

Aubameyang Reflects on Chelsea Move and Personal Struggles

Aubameyang‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ was the one who scored 92 goals for the Arsenal side and he also raised the FA Cup as the captain but still the fans didn’t like his transfer to Chelsea and they reacted with anger. He shared that the decision came exactly when he struggled badly in Barcelona and that armed thieves had just brutally robbed his own place at gunpoint.

As Barcelona needed to offload a player, and Chelsea was the only club in the pipeline, Aubameyang acknowledged that he took the move for his family’s safety, but now he sees the decision as a huge mistake.

Former Teammates React and Tensions Begin to Fade

One of the reasons why Arsenal players were not happy with him is that he went to a directly competing team. Once‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Arsenal was victorious over Chelsea in 2022, Gabriel Magalhaes had a laugh at his expense. The Mesut Ozil’s agent also questioned the call, calling it a mistake of morality. ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍

Aubameyang only managed 21 appearances at Chelsea in which he scored three goals before leaving. The confession may be seen as a gesture which now helps to reduce the anger of Arsenal fans who were feeling betrayed by the transfer.

Aubameyang’s confession is quite a relief. His time in Chelsea was the furthest away from what he is capable of and his regret is a proof that the move was never in harmony with his football ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌identity.
