The star in question here is Emanuel Emegha of Strasbourg. He is 22 years old Dutch striker who scored 14 goals along with picking 3 assists in just 27 Ligue 1 games.

According fo Fabrizio Romano, the Blues have a plan ready for Emegha. They plan to include the 22 year old in their squad since summer 2026. He added that Emegha will surely stay with Strasbourg this summer and move to West London next summer if it goes as per plans. Lastly, he said that there is no confirmation about his move to Juventus.
This seems like a very smart business from Chelsea. The 22 year old can play regular for French club which would have not been the case if he had joined the Blues. This will help him improve and offer Chelsea chance to rethink about him. If Emegha continues to deliver, he will be brought to West London. In contrast, the Blues can drop interest in him if he fails to stay consistent this season. As of now, Chelsea are plotting moves for other strikers.
