Chelsea have 3 centre-backs on their radar for summer window

Chelsea are headed for a big summer transfer window. They will be seen making signings in all parts of the pitch. As of now, their top priority is defence and the Blues have 3 names on their radar.

Chelsea are set for another big summer window. Enzo Maresca will be backed by the club to bring in players of his choice. The Italian has defence as his top priority as the current defenders have not fully been able to eliminate the threat.

The Blues are ready to let go of many current defenders. Firstly, Badiashile and Disasi are said to leave permanently. In addition, the West London club will part ways with Veiga only after 1 year. Lastly, Fofana can aslo get sold as he has been highly injury prone.

Chelsea have 3 defenders on their summer wishlist

According to Sky Sports, the Blues have 3 players as their defender target. First is their long-term target Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace. Second is Jarrad Branthwaite of Everton and the third is Jorrel Hato of Ajax.

Marf Guehi has came through Chelsea’s academy. He was later sold to Crystal Palace where he is now club captain. He guided his club to their first ever major title last night. The 24 year old is also a regular for England national team.

Guehi will be out of contract at the end of the next season. He has rejected to sign a contract extension. The 24 year old wants to join a bigger club with whom he can win major titles regularly. As of now, he is highly linked with return to Stamford Bridge.

Jarrad Branthwaite is only 22 years old but has been a key player for Everton. He has also made his debut for England national team. The 24 year old will be tempted to join Chelsea. It will be a huge step up in his career.

Lastly, Jorrel Hato is the youngest (19) of them all. He has been a key player for Ajax since he was only 16 years old. He can play as both centre-back and left-back. This season he has scored 3 goals and picked 6 assists in 49 games.
