As for striker, Arsenal are linked very heavily with Viktor Gyokeres. They are said to be progressing very well in his pursuit. On the other hand, they have Rodrygo as top winger target. But, Gunners also have another winger as top target who plays for their london rivals.
The star in question here is Noni Madueke. He is 23 year old English winger who can play on both wings. Gunners view his versatality as key asset and hence are keen to sign him. They have already agreed personal terms with him over a 5 year contract.
Chelsea demanding £50 million for Madueke
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are demanding £50 million for Madueke. The report adds that it is not certain if Arsenal are willing to match this figures. This may result in failure of the deal as Gunners will surely hesitate to pay this amount of an out-of-form winger.
Madueke has not been regular for Chelsea and he will surely won’t be a regular for Arsenal. He will add more depth for sure but £50 million will be too much. Gunners already have Bukayo Saka and Nwaneri to operate on right side. Hence, they should focus on natural left winger instead.
