Chelsea have set their sights on Real Madrid midfielder, hoping to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.
Madrid midfielder on Chelsea transfer list
Chelsea are planning big for 2026, and Eduardo Camavinga is the name topping their list, as per Fichajes. The Frenchman has been of interest to the top clubs in Europe. Both Newcastle and Manchester United are tracking him as well.
At just 23, Camavinga already looks like a top professional. With his personal attributes to control the tempo, he is a natural fit for the club.
The catch is Real Madrid’s position. With his contract running until 2029, the Los Blancos are in no rush to sell. If Chelsea want him, they’ll have to put serious money on the table. Reports suggest €60m is the figure being talked about.
Although, Madrid are rarely easy negotiators when it comes to their prized assets. This one could drag out, especially with the midfielder happy and settled in Spain.
Convincing the star won’t be easy
The financial side is only half the battle. Chelsea must also convince Camavinga that a move to London will meet those ambitions as well. Real Madrid is one of largest clubs in world football. This is a team where trophies are flowing.
For Chelsea to win him, they must show they are back competing among Europe’s top teams. They have the trophies and the talented young team to make the pitch, but it is still a risk.
With that said, the intention of the West London side is clear. They see the midfielder as a player of long-term future. They view him as someone who can be a centerpiece in their midfield for the next 10 years. If they are successful it will be one of the best signings in recent memory. But, ultimately, the question is whether Madrid will even entertain a sale of their gem.
Author’s Opinion:
Camavinga to Chelsea would be a huge signing, but to take him from Madrid feels like an tough battle. Unless the player himself pushes for a transfer, this will remain just a dream for now.
