The Blues are busy to sign a striking partner for Nicolas Jackson. They want to sign Hoffenheim striker Maximilian Beier.
Who is Maximillian Beier?
Maximilian Beier is a young German striker who has scored 16 goals out of 33 appearances for Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim. This is certainly an eye-catching stats for any 21 year old player. In this season he has performed well. That is why Julian Naggelsmann has included him in Euro 2024 Germany squad. According to various reports, it is being said that the german striker can cost the blues a fee around €30m.
Chelsea’s hunt for a number nine
Previously Chelsea have tried tried to sign all the elite strikers from all across the Europe. At first they were linked with Benjamin Sesko but the striker opted to stay at RB Leipzig. Chelsea have made a list of strikers which consists Victor Oshimhen from Napoli, Jhon Duran from Aston Villa, Samu Omordion from Atletico Madrid, Jonathan David of Lille. It is being said that Aston Villa has blocked the move of Jhon Duran and Jonathan David is unwilling to leave his current cub because he is happy at the French club. On top of that Victor Oshimhen has a release clause of €120m.
This is certainly an astronomical amount of money. At this moment Chelsea might face consequences for breaching FFP (Financial Fair Play) rules. So, this type of expensive transfer is almost impossible for the Blues. Almost all the Chelsea targets are unavailable in this transfer window. The 21 year old Maximilian Beier is a realistic target for Chelsea. His price tag is not so high and it can be matched by Chelsea.

On the other hand Atletico Madrid have rejected all the Chelsea bids for Samu Omordion. They believe that he is an important player for the Colchoneros.
Hoffenheim striker will be a good addition for the blues
Chelsea have already signed a defender called Tosin Adaraboiyo. But now they are need an attacker. The Blues thought that they will sign Michael Olise who will play in the right wing position, but the player wants to join Bayern Munich. Under Enzo Maresca the Blues will need to some new attackers who can compete with players like Nicolas Jackson, Mykhailo Mudryk for their respective positions.
