Chelsea to go all out to sign Nigerian

Chelsea have joined Arsenal and Liverpool in the race for Dutch defender. The player is very young, versatile and highly offensive. He is very heavily linked with a move to England this summer.

The star in question here is Jorrel Hato who plays for Ajax. He has came through Ajax’s academy. Despite being only 19 years old, he has been their regular first-team member from the 2022/23 season. He mainly plays as a left-back but can also play as centre-back.

Hato is looked upon by Liverpool as a replacement for Andrew Robertson. The Scotland international is ageing and will need replacement soon. In addition, the Reds view Hato as a key player to play in the central defensive position.

On the other hand, Arsenal are also in the race to sign Hato. They do have a very good defensive unit but will still need some new additions. Firstly, they are set to part ways with both Zinchenko and Kiwior. In addition, the club is worried about the injury issues of Tomiyasu.
