As per the report, Enzo Maresca wants to add more experience to thei squad this summer. However, the Blues are not keen to make an offer for Watkins. Instead, they are ready to back Maresca in the hunt for young stars with high potential.
Hence, the Blues may be seen focusing on Liam Delap. This will come as a boost for other clubs interested in Watkins. The Villa star will not have shortage of options to pick from this summer. His departure from Villa will leave a bug void in their club but it will still happen.
