Chelsea have been very busy in the summer market. So far, they have only been busy in signing new players. But, they need to sell some of the current ones and are reported to be open to part ways with 6 players.

Chelsea have signed Liam Delap from Ipswich Town. They have now completed the medicals of Joao Pedro. Lastly, they are set to sign Jamie Gittens who will be followed by some more new signings. But, the Blues also need to focus on selling some current players.

The West London giants were on the verge of breaching PSR last summer. Hence, they need to sell some players and raise funds or else may face heavy penalties. In addition, this will also help to open up space and reduce squad number.

Chelsea ready to part ways with 6 players

According to The Telegraph, the Blues will focus on selling as much as 6 players very soon. The players mentioned in the list are Madueke, Disasi, Petrovic, Chilwell, Broja and Veiga. Out of these 6, only 1 is currently playing for them in CWC.

Madueke is the one who is currently with Chelsea at CWC. He is 23 year old and has been decent for the Blues. But, he has not been able to stay consistent. As a result, the Blues can part ways with him for right offer as he is no longer untouchable.

All of the rest 5 players were already away from Stamford Bridge on loan. Disasi was sent to Aston Villa who have now confirmed that they will not sign him permanently. Chilwell was at Crystal Palace whereas Veiga was at Juventus.

Petrovic had a superb season on loan due to which it was said that he can claim the goalkeeping spot at West London. But, Maresca has not included him in CWC squad which has opened exit door for him. Lastly, Broja has been highly injury prone and will hope to get his career back on track next season.
