Chelsea have once again signed multiple players this summer. However, they have not yet registered any significant sales. This can backfire on them heavily due to PSR situation. Hence, they are also focused on parting ways with many stars. One player who has been linked with exit in recent days is Josh Acheampong.
Acheampong is 19 years old and plays as right-back. He has came up through Chelsea’s academy. This is not the first time that he has been linked with exit. Earlier, it was reported that he wants to leave as free agent and hence is rejecting to sign a new contract.
However, the Blues were successful to sort out this situation. They tied Acheampong to new contract which came as a big boost. Later, the player also played under Enzo Maresca. But, the 19 year old has now once again linked with exit.

The 19 year old has recently spoken up about his future. His comments will come as a very good news for the Chelsea fans. Acheampong seems to be focused on staying at West London. He has also praised Enzo Maresca.
“I don’t pay attention to any of that speculation, I love the club and Maresca trusts me. I always want to stay at Chelsea and show what I can do” – Acheampong told Daily Mail as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea currently have Reece James as number one choice right-back. In addition, they have Malo Gusto who serves as backup for James. Hence, Acheampong does not get lot of chances to play for the first team. But, he will surely have his time soon as he is very young and will have a bright future for the Blues.
