The one player who surely has no future at West London is Djordje Petrovic. He is 25 year old Serbian shot-stopper who was on loan at Strasbourg last season. He had a superb season for French club but that was not enough for him to gain his place back at Chelsea.
Enzo Maresca dropped Petrovic from CWC squad. The Blues now have reached gentleman’s agreement with the 25 year old. They will allow the player to leave for £25 million this summer. According to The Athletic, the Serbian is being looked upon by 6 clubs this summer.
Firstly, Petrovic is wanted by Sunderland this summer. They are promoted to Premier League and hence are keen to improve their squad. They want to stay in Premier League and hence are willing to sign a quality keeper. But, Sunderland are joined by 5 others in the race. It will be interesting to see how his story unfolds.
