As per reports, Dayot Upamecano is on Chelsea radar. He has been a pillar for Bayern Munich‘s defense. His impact has been so positive and so strong that the club has celebrated winning many domestic titles along with him.
But then again, there are rumors that negotiations regarding the new deal have been suspended. This brings up questions concerning the player’s stay at the club. German news claims that there have been negotiations between the two sides for quite some time.
Although, there are no signs of a solution. Now, other clubs are more openly expressing their interest in the player.
Blues’ defensive plans take shape
Chelsea‘s recruitment team at Stamford Bridge is reportedly taking a very close look at their defensive options for next summer’s transfer window. Upamecano is one of quite a few players that the club is looking at.

Although, the West London side has not put in an official offer. But, the signs that point to their interest are becoming quite clear. If Bayern fail to get a positive response from the player about the extension before seasons’ end, these measures will turn out to be a reality at just about that moment.

Dayot Upamecano’s position is a good chance for Chelsea. His mix of experience and world-class pedigree could be a great signing. That will only happen if Bayern Munich’s talks about a deal extension does not come to a conclusion soon.
