Chelsea to rival Arsenal for 100 goal young striker

The Future of Eco-Friendly Stadiums

Chelsea are said to rival their london rivals Arsenal in the pursuit of young striker. The striker has recently reached 100 goal mark and is very likely to move to Premier League next season.

The star in question here is Benjamin Sesko who plays for RB Leipzig. Sesko is 21 years old and is regarded as one of the finest young talents in the world. He has been very consistent since the recent seasons which has impressed many top clubs.

Sesko recently scored his 100th goal of professional career. It was his 33rd goal for Leipzig in 79 games. In addition, he has 29 for Salzburg, 22 for Liefering and 16 for Slovenia national team.

Arsenal have been long-term admirers of Sesko. They wanted to sign him in summer 2024 but the deal failed. Instead, Sesko signed extension with Leipzig until 2029. But, Gunners are not ready to give up on Sesko just yet.

Mikel Arteta is keen to bring in new striker and Sesko is one of his top targets. A very big money move from North London club is expected in the summer. In addition, Sesko too is said to move away from Leipzig to join a bigger club.

Chelsea join the race to sign Benjamin Sesko

According to Londonsfirst, the Blues are keeping tabs on Sesko for summer window. They are very likely to add another striker to their unit in summer. Nicolas Jackson had very good start to this season but his form has dipped. His last goal came on 16th December 2024.

Sesko will add more quality to the final third. In addition, he is 21 and hence fits perfectly in Chelsea’s recruitment policy. He can be looked upon as long-term investment but Chelsea will find it hard to defeat Arsenal in the race.

Chelsea are yet to secure their place in UCL next season. In contrast, Gunners are very likely to feature again in UCL and this may give them important boost in the race. In addition, Sesko will get to play more regularly at Arsenal when compared to Chelsea due to their vast squad depth.
