Garnacho interest remains real
As for Simons, he’s first choice – but that deal could now hinge on Garnacho. Chelsea have watched the Manchester United winger for months and are now pushing to make their move. Garnacho would cost from €70m plus, and United are reluctant to do business – but Chelsea will swoop if a crack forms ajar for them later in the window.
There’s “not impossible” talk of a double deal, say insiders. If Chelsea play Financial Fair Play right, then we could see both Simons and Garnacho rocking up at Stamford Bridge.
