Chelsea are unwilling to sell one of their young superstars this month. However, they are open to let him leave on loan until the end of the season under certain conditions.

Chelsea were also on the verge of breaching PSR this summer. They need to part ways with some of their existing stars before making new signings. Many players are linked with exit and one of them is 21 year old Carney Chukwuemeka.
Chukwuemeka has failed to secure his spot as regular member for Chelsea. In the last two seasons, he played only 27 games in all competitions. This season the situation in same and the youngster has played only 5 games. In addition, he is yet to play in Premier League this season.
Chukwuemeka was very heavily linked with exit. It was believed that the Blues will demand around £40 million for parting ways with him permanently. However, the Chukwuemeka transfer saga has taken an unexpected turn.
Chelsea now unwilling to sell Carney Chukwuemeka
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are now unwilling to let the 21 year old leave permanently. However, they will still sanction the loan move with some specific conditions. As of now, Borussia Dortmund are in active talks with Chelsea for loan. If that deal fails, the Blues might send the 21 year old to their sister club Strasbourg.
Romano has reported that Chelsea want a paid loan move for Chukwuemeka. In addition, they want the interested club to cover his salary. Lastly, they will not include an option to buy in the deal.
