Chelsea are likely to part ways with many players in coming days. One of them is 21 year old midfielder who was away on loan last season. But, the Blues are now willing to sell him permanently.
Chelsea have a very huge squad. They have signed multiple players since their takeover. As a result, some players have struggled to get consistent minutes. On the other hand, some have failed to impress. The Blues are now focused to lower their squad number by parting ways with multiple stars.
One player who surely has no future at Stamford Bridge is Lesley Ugochukwu. He is 21 year old French star who plays as midfielder. The Blues signed him in summer 2023 from Rennes. But, he was able to play only 15 games in his first season at Stamford Bridge.
Later, Ugochukwu was sent on loan last summer to Southampton. He played 31 games for them in all competitions. The 21 year old also scored 1 goal and picked 2 assists. But, Southampton are relegated and Ugochukwu is back to at West London.
Chelsea willing to sell Ugochukwu permanently
The Blues have no intention to keep Lesley Ugochukwu beyond this summer. The 21 year old is surplus to the squad. Chelsea have already signed Darrio Essugo and Andrey Santos is back too. Hence Ugochukwu will surely have no future at West London.
Ugochukwu is wanted by Valencia and some other clubs including Premier League clubs on loan this summer. But Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Blues are unwilling to send him on another loan. They want to sell him permanently and hence are not accepting any loan offer from any club.
Ugochukwu will be easily convinced by other clubs to join them. He is aware that he will not receive game-time at West London. Along with him, some more midfielder are expected to leave. As of now, Dewsbury-Hall and Chukwuemeka are linked with exit.
