Chelsea Women’s 2025/26 WSL Fixtures: Man City Up First

The countdown begins! The 2025/26 Chelsea Women’s Super League (WSL) fixtures are out — and the Blues are setting the stage on fire.

Chelsea will meet Manchester City at Stamford Bridge under the lights on a Friday night blockbuster on September 5. Action begins 7:30pm BST Live on Sky Sports. Title contenders? Check. Big-game energy? Absolutely. Overall, it’s the ideal way to open a season filled with heavyweight showdowns and lofty expectations.

Big Openings, Bigger Tests

Chelsea travel to Aston Villa on 14 September following the City clash and then host Leicester City at home a week after.

A tricky trip to West Ham on 28 September rounds out the month and will send a clear message of intent for what is due to be a cut-throat high-paced season. It gets even better with Manchester United (A) on 4 October Next, followed by a fierce London derby against Tottenham (H) on 11 October.

The first half of the season will test squad depth, tactical sharpness and Chelsea’s hunger to go again — all while adjusting to a new-look league calendar and a step up in broadcast exposure.

Four Stamford Bridge Games Locked In

Chelsea fans, circle these dates — Stamford Bridge will host four WSL home games this season:

  • Man City – 5 September
  • London City Lionesses – 2 November
  • Arsenal – 25 January
  • Manchester United – Final home game (15–17 May)

The return fixture against Man City at the Etihad comes on 1 February, with tough away trips at Arsenal, Liverpool and Brighton still to play.

There’ll be regular Sunday afternoon kick-offs, and Friday night prime time showings with Sky Sports and the BBC both signing up for more coverage than ever before. Chelsea’s season promises not just title drama, but also delivers moments in the spotlight on the grandest of stages.

Let the blue wave roll — 2025/26 is coming.
