Chelsea have a very high squad depth. They have some of the best youngsters in the world. No doubt the future of the West London clubs looks bright, but they are unable to give players regular minutes. As a result, one youngster is open to move away to play regularly.
Chelsea have been very busy in transfer markets ever since their takeover. The new owners came in with a vision of building a squad for the future. The Blues then signed some top talents across whole Europe. They have not been shy to spend big on players they feel are right fit for their long-term project.
However, it has not always went as per the plans for the club. Some players have failed to impress whereas other have not received enough changes. As a result, such players have expressed a desire to move away from West London. Luckily, the Blues have solution for that issue too due to their sister club.
Strasbourg is Chelsea’s sister club which allows them to send top talents on loan. Later, the player are brought back to West London after improvement. The latest example is Andrey Santos who is now at Club World Cup with Blues. Some more players are set to join them this summer and one can be talented defender.
Chelsea defender wants to move away this summer
The star in question here is Aaron Anselmino. He is 20 year old Argentine defender whom the Blues signed last summer from Boca Juniors. He was then sent back to them on loan. Later, he joined Chelsea in January but has not been able to get into their starting lineup. He has played only 2 minutes under Enzo Maresca.
“My idea is to get more minutes somewhere else. I think it will be useful for me and also for the Club” – Anselmino told Matias Pelliccioni.
Anselmino was also asked wheter he wants to return to South America. He rejected and added that he wants to stay at Chelsea which suggests that the player wants a loan move. The Blues can opt to send him on loan to Strasbourg although there are many other clubs showing interest in Europe.
