Borussia Dortmund are keen on United star Jadon Sancho. They are once again enflaming interest in a transfer saga.
Dortmund planning a move for United winger
Borussia Dortmund have begun to cash on in the potential re-signing of Jadon Sancho, as per CaughtOffside.
The Englishman looks set to leave Manchester United this summer. BVB have held internal talks about the possibility of welcoming back the winger. He once dazzled the German side in yellow and black.
Meanwhile, Jadon is not currently at the top of Dortmund’s wish list. However, the club has reached out to his camp to understand the terms of a potential deal. The Red Devils have reduced the asking price of under €20m. So, the move may go through.
The forward is also willing to do a return to Dortmund. The German side is exploring their attacking options at the moment. They are keeping an eye on Sancho, but will not be rushing anything at this point in time.
Juventus still leading the chase
While Dortmund quietly make their move, Juventus remain the frontrunners in the race for Sancho’s signature. The Italian giants have stepped up efforts with regular talks with both the player’s agents and Man Utd.
The player has been flexible on his salary with the Serie A club. He is willing to reduce his wages to around €6m plus bonuses in order to move to Turin. That gesture has given Juve confidence they can get a deal done.
The Old Lady sees Sancho as a high-upside signing who could thrive in their system. Dortmund’s late interest has added a twist, but unless they move quickly, Juventus are expected to close the deal.
For Sancho, a decision could come sooner than expected. He has two very different paths on the table, a return to Dortmund or a new step towards Serie A.
