Estevao Willian to be finally signed by Chelsea in the coming days

Chelsea

Chelsea could be about to get their hands on an extremely talented player this week. They are set to complete the signing of Estevao Willian in the coming weeks.

The transfer window is not open yet, but Chelsea are already making moves in the market. As well as incomings at Stamford Bridge this summer, there are also expected to be exits.

Thiago Silva is leaving Chelsea after reaching the end of his contract. However, he is unlikely to be the only departure. Conor Gallagher has been linked with a move to Aston Villa. Also, selling him could help the club stay in line with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability regulations.

Chelsea closing in on their first summer signing

In terms of new signings, Chelsea look set to wrap up the signing of one attacker this week.

According to Globo Esporte, Palmeiras are hoping to finalise the sale of Estevao Willian to Chelsea in the coming days. Since Estevao is still 17, the winger will not be able to officially join Chelsea until next year.

Although, it looks like the club will get their hands on Estevao Willian. Willian has been tipped to go far in the game. The head of Palmeiras’ youth set-up Joao Paulo Sampaio described him as an “out-of-this-world” talent in an interview with FIFA last year.

When will Estevao Willian make his first-team debut for Chelsea?

Willian is likely to make it when he is 18. At that age, Estevao Willian will obviously still be a very young player. Loaning him out could be the wisest thing to do. However, it does not look like Chelsea are going to do that.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea plan to integrate Estevao into the first team as soon as he arrives at the club. It means Willian should make his Chelsea debut some point in 2025.

Chelsea’s plans with the young Brazilian international

Fabrizio Romano has shared what Chelsea’s plans for Estevao Willian are. Chelsea are currently closing in on the signing of Estevao Willian from Palmeiras.

According to BBC Sport, Chelsea have agreed an initial £29m fee with Palmeiras for Willian. He will move to Stamford Bridge after he turns 18.

In the last summer transfer window, Chelsea signed both Deivid Washington and Angelo from Santos. Meanwhile, Willian recently discussed his future when asked about the Chelsea rumours. Estevao will still be a teenager when he officially joins Chelsea. Nevertheless, it looks like Estevao Willian is going to be handed a role in the first team straight away.

Fabrizio discussed Chelsea’s plans for Estevao once he joins the club on his YouTube channel. “Chelsea’s plan is very clear, to bring in this player in 2025. But from what I’m hearing, he’s not going on loan to any club. He’s not going with the second team.

“No, Willian Estevao will be considered immediately for the first team. So Chelsea want to bring this guy immediately with the team to make an impact. They believe he’s super special.” – said Fabrizio Romano.

Chelsea face off Bayern Munich in race for Palmeiras star

One club who Chelsea seem to have beaten in the battle for Estevao are Bayern Munich. Bayern were also reportedly interested in the Palmeiras star. However, it looks like they have missed out to the team who beat them in the 2012 Champions League final.

Chelsea did not had the greatest season, with a fifth-place finish the best thing that they can hope for.

Although, despite their recent struggles following their takeover, it’s quite clear that Chelsea still have their pulling power. Winning the race for an in-demand talent like Estevao Willian now looks like a formality.
