Everton Star Jarrad Branthwaite Wants To Join Man United

Everton

Earlier this month, Manchester United reached Everton for the signing of the defender Jarrad Branthwaite, but the toffees rejected United’s bid and demanded more money for the 22-year-old. But now Fabrizio Romano has seclusively said to GIVEMESPORT that Jarrad Branthwaite is eager to join Manchester United in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United want to sign new players for the defense. Rafael Varane already announced that he is going to leave the Club as a free agent in the summer transfer Window. Another United center-back Victor Lindelof’s future at Old Trafford is also uncertain after Turkish side Fenerbahce wanted to sign the 29-year-old along with Casemiro. So, the Red Devils are keen to sign the young English talent like Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton.

Branthwaite had a great last season with the toffees. The English international made 41 appearances for Everton across all competitions last season and scored three goals. Despite Everton’s 15th-place finish last season, Branthwaite performed brilliantly for the toffees. However, the 22-year-old missed the chance to get a place in the England squad for Euro 2024. But there is no doubt Jarrad Branthwaite will be England’s one of the best center-back in the future if he can keep his form up over the next few years.

Will Jarrad Branthwaite Join United?

United already made a bid of 35M for England international. But Everton rejected the bid and demanded a transfer fee of 80M for Branthwaite. Everton is desperate to gain a good amount of money from selling players, which will help Everton with their financial problems. As many clubs are coming for Everton’s two young talents- Amadeu Onana and Jarrad Branthwaite, the toffees are keen to sell these players at a high amount of money.

However, as per Romano Jarrad Branthwaite is keen to join Manchester United and personal terms would not be an issue at all at Old Trafford. Romano said,

I would keep his name in the list of Manchester United, waiting to see what they decided to do – because the player is keen on the move to Manchester United. Personal terms are not an issue at all.

“So Manchester United know the player is open to joining them, even without Champions League football, but it depends on the clubs.”

But United is reluctant to pay the 80M for Jarrad Branthwaite. The Red Devils already warned the toffees that if Everton are not willing to reduce the transfer fee, then United will look for a new center-back in the summer. So, Everton have to be more careful about negotiating the deal otherwise they will miss the chance of getting a good amount of money from Jarrad Branthwaite’s deal.
